Let's get the East out of the way first. The New Jersey Nets are the best team by far in the East and when they are clicking should have little difficulty reaching the NBA Finals. The Philadelphia Sixers should be much better than they have played, can find themselves come playoff time. Sacramento Kings, they are the best team in the NBA this season, period. Portland Trailblazers… with all that talent are they finally learning how to play together? San Antonio Spurs … When The Admiral David Robinson and Tim Duncan are clicking they are tough to beat. The Dallas Mavericks, leading the league in scoring, leading in free throw percentage and leading in fewest turnovers. A great mid/late season trade has given them a boost; do they have enough to stop the big guys and go all the way ? LA Lakers. Repeat ? If Kobe and Shaq are on they might do it.
